On this fine Monday...

Ella and I went for a jog this morning at a beautiful park near my parents house. Aunt Emme (who is almost seven!) came along too, it was a lot of fun but who knew that pushing a jogging stroller was such hard work? My face was bright red by the time we finished!

Some chicken and peppers, a nap, and a business meeting later, we are now editing photos, catching up on laundry, and singing at the top of our lungs to Postal Service.

Ella's Blessing Dress

These photos were taken awhile ago, but I noticed that I hadn't put them up on my photo blog...anyway, my sister and i took pictures of Ella (my daughter) in her blessing dress. These are my favorite photographs to date. We even have a few that are waiting to be hung on the wall above her crib. (I'll post pictures of that when it happens!)

Last September...

When Ella was first born, we had a point and shoot camera that we just left out so we could snap a quick photo when we wanted to.
This photo was taken before she was even two weeks old! I thought for sure she'd keep that dark olive skin (she is, after all 1/8 Native American), but she's all peaches and cream now!

I believe in...

Family.

We love to milk Saturdays for all they're worth!
My family prays daily.
We like to make silly sounds that make Ella laugh.
We go on outings and other adventures.
We love to smile.
We love to read to one another. (We're currently working on the Harry Potter series)
My family always tries to do the best we can.
My family loves to eat breakfast...at any time during the day.
We love to be a family.

Today we're going to...

Teach voice lessons.
Clean and pick up the apartment.
Paint a magnetic board.
Make magnets out of bottle caps.
Edit photos.
Send out contracts.
Attend a coupon class.
And play with daddy when he gets home!
